PACT meetings changed from 1st Tuesday of every other month, to every 1st Wednesday of every other month.

Minutes of Rufford and Holmeswood PACT Meeting Held on Tuesday 4th October 2011
Present:
Rose Lee, Ron Padmore, David Lawrenson, Steve Bycroft, Nora Bretherton, Mike Garrity, Andy Currey (Police Community Support Officer), and John Gordon (Councillor of Rufford Parish Council).
As there was no representative from the Police for the public meeting at 6.00pm, a short meeting took place with a reduced number from the public at 6.45pm with Andy Currey, prior to the committee meeting.

2) Minutes of the previous meeting held on Tuesday 2nd August 2011:

3) Matters Arising:
None
4) Reports from Andy Currey in relation to 'Past Matters of Concern':
No information was made available to Andy by Phil (Corrigan), therefore no discussions took place.
5) Reported Incidents:
During the revious two months, a total of eight incidents was reported
Notably, a person was arrested 'going equipped' (for burglary) on Station Road on 30th September.
No other information was made available to Andy by Phil regarding any further incidents.
The reason for the reduced number of incidents reported was due to a computer system change which took place on 28th September
preventing retrieval of earlier data.
6) Matters of Concern for the next two months:
a) Trafficking of Rufford Car Boot Sale on Sundays
b) Anti-social behaviour on Rufford School playing field during weekday evenings and weekends
c) Increased patrols during Halloween and Bonfire nights
d) Increased policing of speeding motorbikes through Holmeswood
Note: a) and b) have been 'added again' due to no feedback from Phil
7) Any other business:
a) Vandalism has been reported in the telephone exchange site, Liverpool Road, Rufford. Phil to investigate further.
b) A proposal is in place for Rufford; Tarleton; Hesketh with Becconsall and North Meols Parish Councils to purchase a car for use throughout the four
Parishes for transport purposes, for Community Beat Officers and Community Support Officers.
c) Concerns were made by the PACT committee regarding the lack of presence by the Police at the Public Meeting.
Also of concern, was the lack of information provided to Andy, including the report of the 'past matters of concern' at this meeting.
